Inspiriert von dem persischen Gedicht „Die Konferenz der Vögel“ aus dem 12. Jahrhundert richtet „Insectotròpics“ den Fokus auf die Vögel, die ihr Ziel nicht erreichen: jene, die zögern, müde werden, stehen bleiben oder sich verirren. Anhand dieser untersucht das Stück menschliche Grenzen, Ängste und Widersprüche und unterstreicht zugleich, wie wichtig es ist, gemeinsam aufzubrechen.
Inspired by the 12th-century Persian poem “The Conference of the Birds” the show seeks to create an immersive experience, fusing various artistic and technological talents. Insectotròpics focuses on the birds who do not reach the end: those who hesitate, grow tired, stop, or get lost. Through them, the piece explores human limits, fears, and contradictions, while also highlighting the importance of walking together.
