Every year, the Sommerwerft is realized through the work and dedication of around 200 volunteers!
As a volunteer, you will gain a variety of insights behind the scenes of a non-commercial cultural event and get to know artists and musicians. With your contribution, you make it possible for the 17-day theater festival to be completely free of charge for everyone from Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region. You can get involved in areas such as bars, cafés, wristband control and food stands. You can also help with set-up and take-down of the festival construction, decorating, distributing flyers or gluing posters!
As a local volunteer, you live in Frankfurt and the surrounding area (so you have a place to sleep during the Sommerwerft) and can take on as many shifts as you like. The shifts last between 3-5 hours from 12 am to 12 pm. Please let us know the dates and times you are available and how many shifts you would like to take on in total.
