Genaya hat sich beim Musikmachen auf Reisen gefunden. Sie verbindet ihre Liebe zu Improvisation und Spontanität und so sind sie seit 5 Jahren gemeinsam musikalisch unterwegs. Ihre Inspiration sind Lieder aus der ganzen Welt, sowie Jazz und Poesie. So beschreiben sie ihre Musik mit Augenzwinkern als Mantrajazz oder einfach als Weltmusik, Genaya besteht aus Emily Peach an der Geige/Gesang, Sandra Kiesel am Klavier/Gesang, David Stadtrocker an Gitarre/Bass und Julius Fibich an Percussion.

Genaya found their musical voice while traveling. They combine their love of improvisation and spontaneity, and have been making music together for the past five years. Their inspiration comes from songs from all over the world, as well as jazz and poetry. With a wink, they describe their music as “mantra jazz” or simply “world music.” Genaya consists of Emily Peach on violin and vocals, Sandra Kiesel on piano and vocals, David Stadtrocker on guitar and bass, and Julius Fibich on percussion.
