Egal ob im Alleingang, zu zweit oder mit Band, Fogel F rettet die Welt. Nicht unbedingt vor dem Klimawandel, Postkolonialismus und Turbokapitalismus. Aber zumindest vor belanglosem Dienstleister-Pop und das ist ja auch schon eine Menge Wert. Die Texte sind tiefgründig und gehen unter die Haut. Ohne großen Pathos und immer mit dem nötigen Schuss Humor und Selbstironie, damit der Irrsinn dieser Zeiten dem emotionalen Konzerterlebnis nicht entgegensteht.

Whether performing solo, as a duo, or with a band, Fogel F saves the world. Not necessarily from climate change, postcolonialism, and turbo-capitalism. But at least from trivial, run-of-the-mill pop—and that’s already worth a lot. The lyrics are profound and get under your skin. Without excessive pathos and always with the necessary dash of humor and self-irony, so that the madness of these times doesn’t get in the way of the emotional concert experience.
