In der Wasseroberfläche des Flusses spiegelt sich ein Zerrbild der Welt. Hochhäuser, Brücken und Bäume lassen sich manchmal erahnen. Dann wieder verliert sich das Bild in ein abstraktes Farbspiel. Tageszeit, Strömung und Wind formen ein sich stetig wandelnden Tanz, der mit immer neuen Variationen überrascht. Gedreht wurde der Experimentalfilm “gleich um die Ecke”, am Mainufer in Frankfurt.

The river’s surface reflects a distorted image of the world. Skyscrapers, bridges, and trees are sometimes faintly discernible. Then the image dissolves into an abstract play of colors. The time of day, the current, and the wind form a constantly shifting dance that surprises with ever-changing variations. The experimental film “Just Around the Corner” was shot on the banks of the Main River in Frankfurt.
