Turnalar Quintett
– Persian, Turkish and international music.
The Turnalar Quintet is an ensemble of the Frankfurt project “Bridges -Music Connects”. Their different experiences and backgrounds merge into a new unity. They play music from Iran, Turkey, the Balkans and Arab countries, dance Klezmer pieces, as well astheir own compositions, and let them resound in the most diverse colours: yearning songs, energetic melodies, mostly in odd rhythms, for listening and for dancing.
