Night of Dance Vol. II: 無 | 壹 (Wú | Yī)

無 | 壹 (Wú | Yī) is a solo dance performance exploring “public solitude” (Stanislavski) and Taoist spatial thought. It reflects Taiwan’s White Terror history (1947–1987) through Shih Ru-Chen, who hid for 18 years for reading Marxist texts—believing that ideas were the essence of freedom.

無 | 壹 (Wú | Yī) ist eine Solo-Tanzperformance, die das Konzept der „öffentlichen Einsamkeit“ (Stanislawski) und taoistische Raumphilosophie erforscht. Sie reflektiert Taiwans Geschichte des Weißen Terrors (1947–1987) durch Shih Ru-Chen, der 18 Jahre im Versteck lebte, weil er an die Freiheit der Gedanken glaubte.
