DIASPORA thematisiert die Situation von Migrant:innen und Menschen auf der Flucht heute, hervorgerufen etwa durch neo-koloniale Ausbeutungsstrukturen im globalen Süden. Als moderne Interpretation von Euripides klassischer Tragödie „Die Troerinnen“ strebt DIASPORA einen Perspektivwechsel an – Weltgeschehen und Konflikte aus der Sicht von Menschen vor Ort, von Frauen, Flüchtenden, Unbeteiligten und Unschuldigen.

DIASPORA thematises the situation of migrants and refugees today, caused for example by neo-colonial exploitation structures in the global South. As a modern interpretation of Euripides’ classic tragedy “The Trojan Women”, DIASPORA strives for a change of perspective – world affairs and conflicts through the eyes of the people on the ground from the perspective of women, refugees, the uninvolved and the innocent.
