Hauptkopf und Gründer der Band ist Giuseppe Porrello, halber Sarde, halber Sizilianer, aber geboren und aufgewachsen in Frankfurt. Er gibt mit seiner rauen Stimme, die an klassische italienische Sänger erinnert, und mit seinen gut bedachten, poetischen, teils zum Schmunzeln, teils zum Nachdenken anregenden Texten GASTONE den unverkennbaren Charme.

Gastone is a band from Frankfurt am Main that is well known throughout Germany. The band’s leader and founder is Giuseppe Porrello, half Sardinian, half Sicilian, but born and raised in Frankfurt. With his rough voice reminiscent of classic Italian singers and his well-considered poetic lyrics, some of which make you smile and some of which make you think, he gives GASTONE its unmistakable charm.
