Weltschmerz, der tiefe Schmerz, den wir für eine Welt empfinden, die voll von unerträglichem Leid ist. TTB stellt diesen Schmerz durch einen Tanz inspiriert von Gurdjieffs Mouvements, dem Tanz der wirbelnden Derwische und Ritualen des Dhikr und des Candomblé physisch dar. Begleitet von Zitaten revolutionärer Dichter und Ravels Bolero tanzen die Lebenden und die Toten zusammen und werfen Lichter auf Schmerz, Wut oder Hoffnung.
Weltschmerz, the deep pain we feel for a world that is full of unbearable suffering. TTB physically represents this pain through a dance inspired by Gurdjieff’s mouvements, the dance of the whirling dervishes and the rituals of Dhikr and Candomblé. Accompanied by quotes from revolutionary poets and Ravel’s Bolero, the living and the dead dance together, shedding light on pain, anger or hope.
