France 1665 – The ‘Illustre Theatre’ tries to stay alive and is celebrated for the new play ‘Don Juan’. While the ‘greatest lover in the world’ stands between hundreds of women, Molière, his creator, ‘only’ stands between two. The author looks the people in the mouth with humour and constantly taunts the authorities. But then he receives an invitation from the Sun King Louis XIV. How far will Molière be allowed to go at court?
