Night of Dance V.II „Desihop”

Die Fusion Dance Gruppe “Desihop” formt sich aus einem dynamischen Trio indischer Tänzer:innen in Frankfurt. „Desi“ wird im indischen Subkontinent häufig als Referenz für Personen und Charakteristika südasiatischer Kultur gebraucht. Das Trio vereint die Lebendigkeit verschiedener Tanzformen wie Bollywood, Hip-Hop und Latin und kreiert einen rhythmisch und energetisch verschmelzenden Stil.

‘Desihop’ is a fusion dance group formed bya dynamic trio of Indian dancers based in Frankfurt rooted in hip-hop and Bollywood dances but each bringing their own unique style to the mix. ‘Desi’ is often used in the Indian subcontinent to refer people or characteristics of South Asian Culture. Our style seamlessly blends the vibrancy of different dance forms such as Bollywood, Hip-Hop and Latin inspired moves, creating a groovy and energetic fusion style which we incorporate in our choreographies, classes, performances, showcasing how different cultures can come together harmoniously through the universal language of dance.
